Best laptops for everyday use - Best laptops this year
From cheapest to most expensive

Let’s see if we can help you find the best laptop for everyday use 2021. A new laptop is definitely one of the more daunting tech purchases you can make. There is a frightening number of products on the market and they do a dizzying amount of things. How do you find the best laptop for everyday use in 2021  for your needs in this heap of microchips?

Step1: That is to say to understanding your needs. The truth is that for most of us, the answer is basic tasks. For instance sending emails, surfing the net, and watching movies or TV shows. If so, there’s good news and bad news. That is to say almost any new unit on the market will be able to do what you need to do, but that means it can be hard to discern whether the money you pay is a worthwhile investment.

Basic needs

Above all, if you’re only going to use it for simple tasks, browsing online, streaming on-demand services similar to Netflix, performing basic tasks like Word, then you’ll be fine with any laptop or tablet under $ 400.

Good all – Rounder

For a good all-rounder to use for business applications such as spreadsheets and presentations, I would recommend devices worth over $ 700.

Advanced experience

Designing, gaming and premium products start at around $ 1000.

Price & Quality

As with most things in life, the more you spend, the better the quality.

I found that technical specifications are less important in the decision-making process. It used to be that processing speeds and ram where the main focus. No more!

Laptops these days have really good processors. If you’re looking for an everyday laptop, whatever you choose will be up to the job. The only time I struggled during testing was when I had a lot of tabs open on an Intel Core i3 (the entry level model).

New technology using Solid state drives (SSD) are improving rapidly and storage limits are increasing nicely. but don’t be surprised if you see a laptop with less storage than you’d expect.

Ok! Let’s go!

Acer Chromebook 311

The new Acer Chromebook 311 is versatile and functional and offers first-rate features enclosed in a compact and durable shell. The notebook is designed for everyday productivity , combining a pleasant typing experience with a long battery life. This device is not only easy to use, but also withstands use on the road and the rigors of everyday life.

It offers extreme portability, thanks to the weight of only 1 kg and a computing power adequate to work on the go. Thanks to the low-power ARM Octa Core processor. The concave keycaps are designed to make digitizing faster and more precise, while the touchpad is moisture resistant . The notebook is equipped with a multipurpose USB-C port , 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 and 720p HDR webcam.

Using the Acer Chromebook 311 will also be quick and easy, thanks to the many benefits offered by the Chrome OS operating system , such as faster boot times, an easy-to-use interface, built-in anti-malware protection and access to millions of Android apps on Google Play or on the Chrome Web Store. With Chrome OS, in addition to benefiting from the Google Workspace ecosystem, users can still use productivity programs and other communication tools such as Microsoft Office and Skype.

Great Selection from Dell Laptops this year – These are our picks for the best choices.

So you’ve settled on Dell and that’s a Great Choice. I have to be honest there are a lot of great companies out there, but my personal experience has been fantastic with Dell. I’ve been so pleasantly surprised by Dell’s tech support. The follow up and engagement I received has been great.

It might be scary as there are so many choices therefore I have simplified your selection to my favorites in all categories.  The choice is yours and they do have a great selection but you can’t go wrong with Dell. Let me see if I could help simplify and break down your choices.

XPS13:

  • If general everyday use along with very lightweight and portable is your thing, well you can’t go wrong with XPS 13.

XPS15:

  • If you want something a little more powerful with a slightly larger screen  XPS 15. The XPS 15 will give you a great user experience. It carries a little more ram and larger disk storage that won’t disappoint you.

XPS 17:

  • The XPS 17 is just an all around beast. If you’re looking for the latest technology with all the bells and whistles this will outperform.

The only thing I should warn of is it only has the new USB C inputs.  Honestly it took a little getting used, but I don’t even think of it anymore.

You can pick up some usb-c adapters for cheap.

For the Gamer and/or Super User

Well, there are a couple of things that will legitimize its price tag. Alienware being subsidiary of Dell gives you the confidence of a big brand name and customer service experience.

To begin with Alienware replaced regular ram with video ram which will give you super smooth gaming experience guaranteed.

Just all around quality parts that will make your experience unique and enjoyable.
